This button is a stand-in for what's really a backend-initiated flow —
e.g. GAIV DP's own server detecting a usage quota is running low and
kicking off an upgrade purchase itself, with no customer click
required. It requests a checkout session from GAIV CheckOut over MQTT
via @gaiv/gaivjs, rather than a direct HTTP call.
